Movement after loss

A small collection of videos dedicated to those navigating loss.
*This may be relevant to you or someone you love. Available to anyone free of charge.*

Hello darling Peach... if you're returning to movement after a loss, you may be looking to reconnect with your body and rehab your muscles with a postpartum lens; what can be tricky is finding a resource for postpartum bodies without the mention of the privilege of things like aches and pains from breast feeding, sleepless nights up with a baby and more.

This is an imperfect but lovingly curated series of videos to help you step back into the world of movement and endorphins, in a safe and loving space that acknowledges the path you are walking on. It doesn't matter whether you're finding me on the mat after a chemical pregnancy, a miscarriage or a stillbirth - your experience is valid and your grief is real. I hope to walk alongside you as you allow yourself some quiet moments on the mat to reconnect with that beautiful, strong body of yours.

Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of women as they have traversed through the often treacherous grounds of TTC, IVF, pregnancy, miscarriage, postpartum depression or anxiety... and overall recovery from a stage in life that is taxing physically, hormonally, emotionally and spiritually. My role is to be a landing pad on the hard days and the good. To inspire you to move when you feel like it least, and to never shy away from the weight of your experience. I am here for you with no judgement, or expectations. I presume nothing about how you find me on the mat each day, some days will be lighter than others, and that's ok.

These classes are simple in their formatting and acknowledge your experience - without drawing you into a heavy recollection of your loss. Expect a warm and loving interaction that will gently hold your hand as you step back into the world of movement - I want to uplift rather than trigger anyone.

My aim is to fill your cup or at least quieten your mind - if only for a brief moment.
With all my love and most heartfelt condolences, Tori x x x

Movement after loss
  • Fill your cup

Fill your cup with a glute and core activation on the mat with me. Listen to your body and layer as you see fit - this class is all about blood flow and endorphins.

  • Core Rehab

Zone in on your deep transverse abdominis muscle wall and embrace a little bit of a burn in this session. Take your time when learning the mind to body connection and know that switching on those muscles again after pregnancy can take some time and practise.

  • Reconnect to your core

Reconnect to your core after a pregnancy. This class features forward curling ab work, so speak to a physio if needed before joining me for this session.

  • Slow Stretch

Release your hips, lower back and neck with this simple series of stretches. A great place to land if you're not up for movement but want to give your body some love.
